What we do
New Armatree is located 40km North of Gilgandra on the Northern end of the Central West Slopes and Plains. We run a mixed farming enterprise growing cereals in rotation with pulse crops and Lucerne, and Merino ewes producing wool and first-cross lambs.
Health and management
We undertake best industry practice with regard to the health program of the Border Leicester Flock. All sheep have a complete 6 in 1 program that is at marketing and weaning and are only drenched when necessary, in accordance with regular worm egg count results.
Technology and
research
At New Armatree we embrace technology that will advance the business, including the stud.
Technology adoption includes matesel, genomics, breedelite, auto drafter and Lambplan.
